Q: Will you be able to create songs and characters in the PS2 version of Guitar Hero World Tour?

A: Song creation (via Music Studio) and character creation will both be present in the PS2 version of Guitar Hero World Tour. You just won’t be able to upload your songs online like you can with the Wii/PS3/Xbox 360 versions.

A: Older RedOctane guitar controllers including the wired SG & X-plorer, wireless Les Paul and Kramer Striker, will work for Guitar Hero World Tour software on their corresponding platforms.  ie. - Wii Les Paul wireless will be compatible with Wii Guitar Hero World Tour software

Q: Will the slap bass and taping be backwards compatible with Guitar Hero 3?

A: The touch sensitive neck slider part of the new Guitar Hero World Tour wireless guitar will NOT be usable in Guitar Hero 3 (or any previous Guitar Hero title) as the software doesn’t recognize that part of the guitar controller.

Q: How sturdy is the kick pedal in the upcoming Guitar Hero World Tour drum controller when compared to other drum controllers currently available in the market?

A: Our kick pedals will feature two main points of contact and support for use over extensive period.  Close-up picts will be posted shortly. Hopefully these will put everyone’s worries at ease on the reliability and longevity of our drum pedals.

Q: How about batteries? The Guitar Hero World Tour drum kit works with AA batteries, like the other controllers? And how many batteries do you need to use the drum kit?

A: The Guitar Hero World Tour drum kit will utilize 2 x AA batteries and is 100% compatible with the previously released Guitar Hero Recharge Kit.
